Mick Elliott is an award-winning animator and producer. His independent stop-motion shorts, AFTER DOLLY and RICHARD, have screened at over 60 film festivals worldwide.

AFTER DOLLY was nominated for an IF Award for Best Animated Short in 2005 and screens regularly on SBS.

RICHARD won the top international short animation prize at the Cortoons Film Festival in Italy and was awarded best comedy at the 2007 Byron Bay Film Festival.

In 2007, Mick wrote and directed the cinema trailer for the Inside Film (IF) Awards, featuring two mismatched, nude film critics spruiking the benefits of rating Australian films.

In addition to producing stop-motion animated films, Mick is Executive Producer at Nickelodeon Australia, working on productions such as The Kids Choice Awards, Sarvo and Play Along With Ollie, a co-production with the Sesame Workshop. In 2003, he was awarded the Promax Rocket Award for rising talent, and his work for Nickelodeon has won more than ten international Promax and Broadcast Design Awards.

He is currently developing a new stop-motion short with funding from the Australian Film Commission.

Mick is not related to Academy Award-winning Australian animator Adam Elliot (Harvey Krumpet), though he very much admires his work.
