A renowned advertising photographer with over 10 successful years working in Australia and London, Erik believes photography is not just about the way a shot looks but the message it conveys. An avid student of semiotics, he approaches every shoot with a quizzical eye, keen to imbue each shot with that added extra something that helps to bring the idea to life. With a down to earth approach and a desire to exceed all expectations, Erik works closely with his clients to go beyond lights and cameras to create the perfect image that marries real world outcomes with creative expression.

Eriks history follows the traditional path of photographers, completing a 3 year university degree at Queensland College of Art. He then went on to assist top Australian photographers shoot advertising campaigns around the world, whilst still pursuing his own personal interests in portraiture on the side. After shooting famous actor Jackie Chan for Interview Magazine, Erik decided it was time to take to the world on his own.

He soon departed to London, to further his skills and experience in an international market. During his time in the UK, Erik built up a large portfolio of soccer heroes from well-known teams such as Manchester United, Liverpool FC and Barcelona FC.
Returning home to Australia, Erik continued to shoot sports personalities amidst other creative advertising.

Erik is now happily based in sunny Queensland, where he runs a photographic studio in Brisbane. He works on major local and international accounts.
