Proof that your creative zing can be a real occupation

As co-founder and Creative Director at The Peoples Republic of Animation (PRA), (founded in 2000) Eddie has provided much of the creative impetus behind the studios films, music video clips and commercial work, writing, directing and designing animations.

Eddie co-directed the internationally award winning short film FRITZ GETS RICH (2005) (Winner of Best Film for Children Bradford Animation Festival 05) and also nominated for best animated short at the AFI (Australian Film Institute) Awards, Australias premiere film awards. He also wrote and directed ERRORISM: A COMEDY OF TERRORS (2005), a series of mobisodes for mobile phones, and music video THE BOMB (Sixxx Legs) (2003), which has appeared at several international festivals and won Best Visual Effects Award at BELOWGROUND music video festival, 2004.

Most recently he wrote and co-directed CARNIVORE REFLUX (with James Calvert). The film premiered as a finalist at SONY Tropfest, Australias largest film festival and also won two international awards; A Movie Squad award at Holland Animation Festival 2006 and a Jury Prize at the Istanbul Animation Festival 2006. The film was also the winner of the Best Short animation category at the 2006 IF (INSIDE FILM) Awards, Australias peoples choice of film . It was also nominated for best animation at the AFI (Australian Film Institute) Awards.

He has recently directed SWEET & SOUR a short film co-production with The Shanghai Animation Film Studio, Chinas oldest animation studio.

Having graduated in 2005 with an honours degree in arts (drama performance), Eddie is also an accomplished actor, working on both the stage and screen.
