Description
This series of branding was created for my own freelance design practice. The Iconica concept was initially inspired by my intention to bring to life the emotions and discourses that are often overlooked by the naked eye, but nonetheless connect us as humans beings. As I see it, much of todays commercial design is symbolic, but only a few can be considered iconic; the key difference is that the former merely regurgitates language of enterprise, while the latter speaks the language of humanity. In an industry that seemingly perpetuates entrepreneurial ideals, I want to situate myself as one designer who chooses to harnesses humanist ideals. To this extent, the design expresses creative flair manifest through a humanist aesthetic. The vivid lines symbolize humanist ideals and emotions which I intend to bring to life.
