cool idea, good depth, i'd try mixing up your colour pallet abit, the old trick of useing complimentary colours in the shadows should make it pop more.

This design is very Peter jackson / Hellboy inspired! The teeth and nose design are especially excellent, the facial distortion around his eyes is frankly filthy - in a good way. Love to see where you go with him next.
